Engine source code released


After a long hiatus, due to a dead laptop and getting a day job, I've finally finished my clean-up of the engine code, and the source code for the engine, tentatively named ScarletCore, is now available on my GitHub!

There haven't been many updates to the game proper (some tiny increases in efficiency and a couple minor bug fixes) but the ground has been laid for a number of future plans.


I intend to focus mainly on developing the game for now, with development of the engine being done primarily in service of the game, but do intend to eventually fully support both independently. As for the game, for now I intend to release one more version of the demo (implementing a few more features and suggestions, and slightly expanding on the story) before moving on to development of the full game. My uncertain schedule prevents me from giving a timeline on this, but I hope to do so within the month.
